GENERAL CENSUS OF POPULATION AND HOUSING (RGPL2023)

Gabon is organizing this year its eighth General Population and Housing Census 2023 (RGPL 2023) with the innovation of using tablets during collection. Implementation activities for this large-scale operation continue in the second quarter by: The organization on April 7, 2023, of an information and awareness meeting on the RGPL with all ministerial departments, non-governmental organizations, and technical and financial partners; Recruitment and training of agents for the collection of data for the general census mapping of the RGPL 2023 from April 24 to May 23, 2023; The installation on June 30, 2023, of members of the Provincial Estuary Commission of the RGPL 2023 by the Minister of Economy and Recovery, President of the National Census Commission.
