CENSUS OF ECONOMICALLY WEAK GABONESE (RGEF 2023)
The Ministry of Economy and Recovery and the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, with the technical participation of the Directorate General of Statistics (DGS) and the National Health Insurance and Social Guarantee Fund (CNAMGS) , launched the main phase of the Second Census of Economically Weak Gabonese (RGEF II) via an official communication published in the UNION on July 17, 2023. This national-scale operation, which has so far only started in the Estuary, will continue until September 30, 2023 in this province which contains more than 50% of Economically Weak Gabonese (GEF) currently registered with the CNAMGS. Thus, GEFs currently residing in the Estuary are asked to go to the enrollment sites closest to their places of residence, with their GEF cards (or receipt or duplicate) from the CNAMGS (Fund 3) in order to enlist. The GEFs who have been enrolled will subsequently receive a visit from RGEF II agents who will visit their places of residence to administer a questionnaire to all members of their households. With this in mind, it is therefore not necessary for all members of the same household to travel to the enrollment sites. The current mapping of enrollment sites is as follows:
NB: – This is a census whose aim is to collect data with a view to re-certifying GEFs, therefore no payment will be made. – The mapping of the enlistment sites may vary depending on the crowd because the enlistment teams are mobile.
