The RGEF is a national operation which has only started, for the moment, in the Estuaire province. It aims to collect data with a view to re-certifying GEFs in accordance with the new definition contained in Law No. 001/2018 of September 18, 2018.
The General Directorate of Statistics and Economic Studies (DGSEE) was created in 1976. Since October 2011, the DGSEE has become the General Directorate of Statistics (DGS).
