MINISTER MAYS MOUISSI VISITS THE GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF STATISTICS

The Directorate General of Statistics (DGS) constituted, on September 21, 2023, the sixth stage of the visit to the administrations and entities under the supervision of the Minister of Economy and Participations, Mr. Mays MOUISSI.

This visit allowed the Minister to observe the working conditions of the agents and to speak frankly with them. During this exchange, the Director General presented the Service for which he is responsible. Then the staff, through the President of the union, Mr. Célestin ESSONO, presented their concerns. In response, the Minister undertook to do what was necessary to find possible solutions to their grievances, taking into account the realities of the Transition. However, he presented his expectations, urging the entire DGS to work harder with the available resources.
