INFORMATION BROCHURE ON THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN GABON

In view of the Gabonese authorities' visit to the United Nations bodies for the presentation of a second National Report on the state of progress towards achieving the SDGs, the DGS intends to produce a second information brochure on the SDGs.

This second brochure presents, through a few indicators, the evolution of the targets retained by Gabon and allows us to assess the progress made by Gabon over the eight years of implementation of the 2030 agenda.

These indicators mainly come from the reports of the Demographic and Health Surveys of 2000, 2012 and 2021, the National Survey on Employment and Unemployment of 2010, the General Population and Housing Census of 2013, the Survey Gabonaise for the Poverty Assessment of 2005 and 2017, the PASEC Report of 2019 and statistics from sectoral Ministries and international sources.
